All White With a Splash of Vintage Gold and Leopard
You can’t go wrong with white in the summer, and now that I’m engaged I’m wearing it any chance I get. Cliche, I know. Just be careful not to spill any coffee on yourself.
I’ve had this pleated white chiffon skirt in my wardrobe for a few years now. It’s such a timeless piece that I can see myself wearing for the next decade (although it probably won’t last that long).
Something you’ll see more of on my blog in the coming months is some of my favourite vintage & thrifty finds incorporated with new pieces. Something old, something new. I was so excited when I found this amazing belt for $4.99 at Value Village. I’ve seen similar styles costing upwards of $40-60 dollars on websites like Anthropologie and Free People.
Fun fact about me — I collect vintage belts. I love hitting up the local thrift shops and hunting for cool finds. My favourite style is black suede or leather belts with oversized gold buckles. A child of the late 80’s what can I say?
Lastly, I tied everything together with some black block heels with an oversized bow!
Another fun fact about me? I drink a lot of coffee, too much. I’m actually trying to cut back and it’s SO HARD! Ugh. I could easily down three cups a day which is not doing wonders for my teeth let me tell ya!
Balzac’s in Kitchener is a coffee spot I frequent. They just got a mini decor makeover featuring shiny green subway tile and fun wallpaper. I’m thinking of starting a guide soon to Kitchener-Waterloo and share my favourite local spots.
P.S — If anyone has any caffeine-cutting tips, please let me know.
