Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum

Welcome back to my blog!  If you are a regular reader you might notice that I changed up my layout. I’m loving the new look of Personally Paige.  Let me know what you think in the comments now on to the post…

My birthday is coming up so I decided to treat myself to a new perfume and I chose the very popular

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum.  My boyfriend Jon, gave me Prada Candy for my birthday last year and I recently ran out, so I was itching for a new luxe scent.  I’ll probably repurchase Prada Candy because I do love it, but I wanted something new.

I purchased the V&R Flowerbomb gift set from Sephora because it was only two dollars more than that 50ml on it’s own, which brought the total to $130 CAD.  I have sensitive skin, so I’m not sure if I will end up using the lotion or shower gel.

I am normally not a fan of “floral” scents but I don’t consider Flowerbomb to be a traditional floral scent.  I think it’s the base notes that speak to me which are vanilla, wood and amber.  I absolutely love the scent of vanilla so that could be why I’m loving this perfume.

The packaging is absolutely stunning.  A grenade shaped glass bottle with a black plastic “pin” logo. The perfume itself is a lovely rose gold shade which looks beautiful on my dresser.  A lot nicer packaging than the V&R Bonbon in my opinion.  So far it’s not as long lasting as I would like.  I might have to use a bit more than my usual two sprays to make it stay.  Overall, I’m very happy with my new scent!
